THE PLACE
Nestled in the heart of the Sentier, at 14 rue Saint-Sauveur, neighboring its elders Shabour and Tékès, Shosh is a place that explores the origins of Jerusalemite culture. It’s a place that tells a heritage, a story. Pushing the door of Shosh means taking a one-way ticket to Jerusalem while having the feeling of being at home, in a place where you feel good. It’s being welcomed as at home, with all the kindness and generosity of a family. Shosh is a mother or a grandmother, it is an invitation to travel to a place that seems familiar to us.
THE KITCHEN
Available for take away, we find in the dishes of this new deli the whole universe of the quartet which offers Israeli cuisine open to the world: Mafrum, a Libyan dish composed of ground beef sandwiched in assorted vegetables, Horesh Sabzi, a stew from Iran whose main ingredient is a mixture of sautéed vegetables, or Pititim, a kind of grilled pasta in the shape of rice or small balls, of Israeli origin; everyone will find inspiration.
THE GROCERY STORE
Shosh also offers a vast selection of products from this cosmopolitan region which is the richness of Israeli cuisine. It includes, among other things, spice blends such as za'atar, a condiment composed of thyme, sumac and sesame seeds, olive oils straight from the country, Jerusalem bagels, manakishes and other emblematic breads. , a wine cellar, imported by the team from the four corners of the world, as well as a selection of mezzés as a reminder of the Mediterranean; authentic flavors with fragrances from elsewhere.
